Prosthetics

Mobile and fixed prosthetics

Prosthetics is a branch of dentistry that deals with replacing lost teeth, improving smile aesthetics, and restoring jaw functionality. Depending on the needs of the patients, mobile, fixed, or combined prosthetics are used. In the Gros Dental practice, the most modern techniques and materials are available, which enable long-lasting and aesthetically flawless solutions.

Crowns and bridges

Fixed prosthodontics includes the production of crowns and bridges that can have a base of gold, metal, or non-metal materials. These restorations provide a natural look, durability, and strength, and can be done on natural teeth, extensions, or implants.

Non-metal ceramics

Metal-free ceramics enable the production of crowns and bridges that are aesthetically the most natural, thanks to their high transparency and the absence of a metal base. These restorations do not change color over time and do not cause gum darkening, providing long-lasting and superior results.

Metal-free veneers

Veneers are thin ceramic coverings that are placed on the front surface of teeth to correct their shape, size, or color. In the Gros Dental practice, veneers made of metal-free ceramics are used, which provide a natural look and a high degree of aesthetics.

Upgrades

For damaged teeth, crowns are a key solution. They are made of different materials, depending on the degree of tooth damage and the type of crown placed over them. Upgrades allow additional stability and durability of prosthetic works.

Protetika

Implant prosthetics

Implant prosthetics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the creation and installation of restorations (crowns, bridges or dentures) on dental implants, which serve as a substitute for the missing tooth root. The goal is to functionally and aesthetically compensate for lost teeth, ensuring stability, natural appearance and longevity of the solution.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 are modern methods that enable a complete prosthetic solution for edentulous jaws using four or six implants to which the prosthetic work is fixed. These techniques offer a fast, stable and aesthetically effective solution without the need to install implants for each tooth separately. In the Gros Dental office, prosthetic restorations on installed implants are made according to the most modern concepts and with the most modern materials (BioHPP, Titanium).

Prostheses

For patients who have lost a large number of teeth, prostheses are an effective solution. In the Gros Dental practice, prostheses are made from high-quality acrylics with or without a metal base (vizil). We also use teeth from the world’s leading manufacturers, which can be made of composite or ceramic materials.

CAD/CAM

CAD/CAM stands for Computer-Aided Design / Computer-Aided Manufacturing, i.e., computer-supported design and manufacturing. In dentistry, it is used for digital scanning of teeth, precise planning, and rapid fabrication of prosthetic restorations such as crowns, bridges, and veneers – often all in the same day. This technology is also available at the Gros dental practice.

Combined works

Combined works are a combination of fixed and mobile prosthetics, providing stability and functionality. These techniques allow customized solutions for each patient, including bite corrections, tooth replacement in edentulous spaces and improving the aesthetic appearance of the smile.

Atechmen are sophisticated elements of combined prosthetics, which enable the discrete and safe connection of fixed and mobile works. They enable an even pressure transfer when chewing and improve aesthetics, because they are hidden and unnoticeable in the mouth.
